Job Description:
TA 1: 50 hours
- Respond to student queries pertaining to course logistics (due dates, MyCourses, seminar scheduling)
- Coordinating and evaluation of the midterm and quizzes (i.e., answering questions, marking)
-TA is not expected to attend classes.
TA 2: 75 hours
Under the supervision of and in collaboration with the course coordinators, the TA will lead small-group discussions. The TA is expected to attend all classes and must therefore be available in the last hour of the scheduled class time.
Specific tasks include:
- Coordinating and evaluation of the group projects (i.e.: answering questions, marking the written projects and evaluating the oral presentations)
- Coordinate and organize student participation reflections weekly
- Meetings with students to review assignments
- Administrative tasks related to the organization of groups, postings to and use of MyCourses
- Respond to student queries pertaining to course logistics (due dates, MyCourses, seminar scheduling)
- Participates in the evaluation of students in the course.
- Facilitate small group discussions
Salary:
$38.46/hour

Qualifications:
Current Masters or Doctoral student at McGill.
Graduate teaching experience is preferred and an asset.
