We are looking for a hands-on facilities professional who takes ownership of their sites, enjoys interacting with clients, and is eager to grow into a more senior or leadership role. This role is ideal for someone who wants to build a career in facilities management beyond technical execution.
Job Description
Responsibilities:
Attend client sites to perform preventative inspections, troubleshoot issues, and complete minor repairs within scope
Conduct routine site walkthroughs to identify health, safety, operational, and workplace experience opportunities
Respond to service requests and stabilize minor issues while on site
Work with a centralized dispatch and operations team to prioritize and complete work orders efficiently
Coordinate with vendors, landlords, and third-party service providers to ensure timely resolution of escalated issues
Track and update work orders through a mobile CMMS platform, ensuring accurate and timely reporting
Support inventory checks and light restocking of site consumables
Client & Regional Support (Growth Focus):
Develop and maintain positive relationships with client stakeholders
Participate in client meetings and communicate updates on facilities performance and site conditions
Provide updates on property profiles, emergency preparedness plans, inspections, audits, and work order progress
Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and materials for client and internal meetings
Support regional coordination of multiple sites, helping ensure consistent service delivery
Projects & Continuous Improvement:
Assist in preparing quotes and recommendations for minor projects or corrective actions
Support site-level implementation of approved work and improvements
Identify recurring issues and provide recommendations to improve operations and reduce risk
Contribute to standardizing processes and improving service delivery across the portfolio
Quality, Compliance & Systems:
Perform periodic facility inspections and audits to ensure quality and compliance
Ensure all activities align with company procedures and applicable local, provincial, and federal regulations
Utilize mobile field systems, work order platforms, and reporting tools to manage daily activities
Qualifications
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
2–5+ years of experience in facilities support, building operations, or similar role
Strong hands-on capability with minor repairs and general maintenance tasks (non-certified scope)
Ability to resolve issues independently while knowing when to escalate
Experience working across multiple sites or building types is an asset
Strong communication skills and confidence interacting with clients and stakeholders
Interest in developing leadership, coordination, and client management skills
Experience with CMMS/work order systems and mobile field tools preferred
Ability to obtain security clearance (where required)
Positive, accountable, and collaborative attitude
