Job DescriptionJob Description Facilities Attendant – Student Housing Regular Full Time Duties: Reporting to the Manager, Facilities, the Facilities Attendant – Student Housing is responsible for the overall maintenance and repairs to the on-campus student housing. The Facilities Attendant has a general understanding of College operations and acts as a labourer for renovations, routine maintenance, capital projects as well as assisting in the testing and monitoring of the fire alarm, security alarm, HVAC systems and water filtering/testing. Qualifications: The successful candidate will possess a Grade 12 High School Diploma and hold a valid Class 5 Driver's License, with air brake endorsement. A Basic First Aid Certificate is required. The role requires a minimum of two (2) years of experience in building maintenance or demonstrated work experience across a variety of related building trades. Candidates must have basic computer skills, including experience using an online maintenance work order system. Strong interpersonal skills are essential, with the ability to interact professionally and diplomatically while dealing with a wide range of personalities.
