The Embassy is a Canadian, Oscar-nominated production house, specializing in live-action production, post-production, and animation for feature films, television, and commercials. About You
You are a highly connected and relationship-driven VFX professional with a strong understanding of the film and television landscape. You have a proven ability to build trust with clients, identify opportunities early, and help turn creative conversations into awarded work.
You are comfortable representing a studio at the highest level, whether in client meetings, industry events, or pitch discussions. You understand the pace and expectations of high-end VFX production and bring an established network of industry relationships across film, television, and streaming.
Your Role
Identify and pursue new business opportunities across Film, TV, streaming, and commercials
Build and maintain relationships with producers, studio executives, production houses, agencies, and creative partners
Represent The Embassy in meetings, presentations, industry events, and client-facing discussions
Collaborate with studio leadership to develop bidding strategies and proposals for prospective projects
Stay up-to-date with industry activity, productions, and upcoming opportunities relevant to the studio
Work closely with internal teams to ensure a smooth transition from awarded work into production
Help expand The Embassy’s visibility and long-term presence within the global VFX community
Provide regular updates and pipeline reporting to studio leadership
Your Qualifications
10+ years of experience within VFX, Film, TV, or commercials
Established network of industry relationships with producers, studio representatives, and decision-makers
Demonstrated success developing client relationships that lead to awarded business
Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Deep understanding of VFX workflows, production pipelines, and client expectations
Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Experience working within a major production hubs such as Los Angeles, Vancouver, Toronto, or UK is an asset
Compensation
Compensation will be based on experience and qualifications, and includes a base salary plus performance-based commission.
