Make an impact with our Consumer Insolvency team as an Estate Manager. This diverse team of professionals assists Canadians with navigating and overcoming financial challenges and achieving financial freedom. Responsibilities
Assist with planning and delivery of consumer insolvency services
Assist with administering formal insolvency appointments including bankruptcies and proposals
Develop relationships with current and potential referral sources including credit counsellors, debt counsellors, lawyers, accountants, etc.
Prepare and review relevant BIA documentation
Help identify innovative ways to deliver added value to debtors; ensure debtor needs are met
Maintain high quality control and apply specialized knowledge to anticipate, identify and address issues or key risks relevant to the debtor
Contribute to the development of new ideas and approaches to improve work processes
Maintain flexibility to travel periodically, as necessary
Skills and Experience
Completion of the Insolvency Administration course and/or BIA Insolvency Counselor course, or willingness to work toward same depending on experience
Insolvency experience; professional services experience outside of insolvency will also be considered
Ability to Speak French and English (written and oral) is considered as a strong asset
