Integrated Staffing is currently recruiting an experienced Equipment Operator (Roller) for a civil and asphalt paving contractor working on projects throughout Moncton and surrounding areas, NB. This is a great opportunity for a skilled operator looking for steady, hands-on work in road construction and paving operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating rollers and other compaction equipment to ensure proper asphalt and aggregate finishing to required specifications. JOB DUTIES The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a roller and supporting paving operations safely and efficiently on active construction sites. Duties may include, but are not limited to: • Operating rollers and other compaction equipment for asphalt and aggregate surfaces • Ensuring proper compaction, grading, and finishing of paved surfaces • Monitoring surface consistency, compaction quality, and mat temperature • Working closely with paver operators and labourers to maintain production flow • Performing daily equipment inspections and reporting maintenance issues • Working safely around heavy equipment in active construction and live traffic areas • Supporting general paving and construction activities as required • Following all company safety policies and procedures • Assisting with other duties as assigned on site RATE OF PAY $25.00 – $26.00/hr + 4% vacation pay Wage based on experience HOURS Work performed at various sites in and around Moncton, NB Start times typically between 5:30 AM – 7:00 AM Shifts run approximately 10–12 hours Overtime and weekend work expected depending on weather and project requirements PPE REQUIREMENTS • CSA-approved steel-toed boots • CSA-approved hard hat • High-visibility safety vest • Safety glasses / eye protection • Hearing protection REQUIREMENTS • Minimum 2+ years of experience operating heavy equipment in the paving industry • Strong attention to detail and ability to monitor compaction and surface quality • Ability to work safely around heavy equipment, crew members, and traffic • Valid Class 5 driver’s license (Class 3A considered an asset) • Mechanically inclined with ability to perform basic preventative maintenance and inspections • Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work in a team environment • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions WORK ENVIRONMENT • Commercial, industrial, and residential paving sites throughout Moncton and surrounding areas • Fast-paced, safety-focused construction environment with active equipment operations REFER TALENT, GET REWARDED Know someone already working with Integrated Staffing?
