English-speaking Kindergarten Teacher at MB Kindergarten — NeverHard

Maple Bear Astana is seeking a Kindergarten Teacher who will help in building a culture of a high-quality English-speaking kindergarten that follows an award-winning Canadian education curriculum and prepares its students to become successful in their future academic pursuits in the best international and local schools in Kazakhstan or abroad. The Co-Teacher will report directly to the Homeroom Teacher or Academic Coordinator and will implement the Maple Bear curriculum and program by teaching and supervising a group of kindergarten kids (approx. 15) either 4-5 year old (Junior Kindergarten) or 5-6 years old (Senior Kindergarten) together with a Co-teacher. The Homeroom Teacher will also be responsible for some administrative duties as assigned by the Academic Coordinator. THE KINDERGARTEN TEACHER WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR Teaching and supervising a group of kindergarten children (approx. 15) either 4-5 or 5-6 years old Ensuring the quality of education, safety, and care in the classroom Assessing the kindergarteners’ progress and communicating it to the Academic Coordinator and the parents via report cards and assessment reports Ensuring quality communication and engagement with parents Being responsible for all hygiene needs and requirements and health care Performing various administrative duties as assigned by the Academic Coordinator Maintaining a friendly and supportive work and learning environment Managing a clean and sanitized classroom environment in concurrence with the Maple Bear curriculum standards WE OFFER Initially, a one-year contract, renewable subject to performance Negotiable and competitive salary A dynamic, friendly, and supportive work environment Continual professional training and support from the Maple Bear global network A chance to become a part of the global Maple Bear family and to help grow the Maple Bear network in Kazakhstan REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor of Education degree or higher OR a four-year university degree with ECE (early childhood education) / NTT (nursery teachers’ training) qualifications Minimum 3 years of excellent teaching experience at the kindergarten or primary school level High fluency in English with excellent communication skills Native or near-native knowledge of Russian or Kazakh APPLICATION PROCEDURE Please also submit a short paragraph (150 words max) explaining why you are interested in working for Maple Bear Astana.
