We're a proudly Canadian, family-owned company — and we're growing.
That growth means we're looking for someone who wants more than a job. We want an Engineering And Maintenance Manager who's ready to build something real with us: to take ownership of a critical function, shape how we operate for years to come, and grow right alongside the business.
If you're the kind of person who takes pride in a well-run operation, who sees a preventive maintenance program not as a checklist but as a craft, and who wants to work somewhere your ideas actually move the needle — we want to talk to you.
The Role
You'll lead the planning, scheduling, and continuous improvement of our maintenance operations — the kind of work that keeps a fast-paced manufacturing environment running safely, efficiently, and ready for what's next. You'll manage day-to-day operations while also owning the bigger picture: equipment performance, preventive maintenance strategy, and the contractor and supplier relationships that keep everything moving.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who understands automation, robotics, and production systems, and who can bring people together — production, QA, operations — around a shared goal of minimizing downtime and maximizing performance.
What You'll Own
Leading and continuously improving the maintenance team's day-to-day operations
Building out maintenance planning, scheduling, and work order systems
Tracking the metrics that matter — maintenance effectiveness and equipment performance
Optimizing our preventive maintenance (PM) programs
Sourcing and managing equipment suppliers, vendors, and contractors
Keeping supplier relationships strong so parts are ordered and available when needed
Partnering closely with Production, QA, and Operations to reduce downtime
Upholding our health, safety, and food manufacturing standards
Using tools like AutoCAD and SolidWorks to support equipment layouts, upgrades, and installations
Supporting the maintenance and troubleshooting of our automation and robotics systems
What You Bring
4+ years of maintenance or engineering leadership experience in manufacturing or food production
A strong grasp of automated systems, robotics, and industrial equipment
Real experience managing PM schedules, procurement, and contractor relationships
Comfort with planning tools and CMMS systems
Working knowledge of AutoCAD or SolidWorks
Sharp organizational skills, and the communication and leadership chops to match
An engineering background is a plus, not a requirement
The ability to juggle competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment — and stay steady doing it
Why Join Us?
Because we're not just looking to fill a seat — we're looking to build a team of people who are as committed to getting it right as we are. As a growing, family-owned Canadian company, we offer something a lot of larger organizations can't: the chance to genuinely shape how we work, be seen for the impact you make, and grow into bigger opportunities as we grow.
If you're passionate about great systems, great people, and doing work that actually matters — we want to meet you.
