Job Description We are hiring an ATE Operations Engineer who will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing Automated Test Equipment (ATE) systems, infrastructure, and customer configurations within the test floor environment. This role combines hands-on engineering support, data management, and system ownership to ensure efficient, reliable, and scalable test operations. Location: Santa Clara, CA (Onsite). Relocation assistance is not provided for this role; candidates should be able to commute to the work location. What You’ll Do Maintain all ATE test floor software. Maintain all ATE test floor equipment and customer configurations. Partner with ATE suppliers and monitor power usage. Own ATE test floor IT infrastructure including servers and updates. Manage customer data lifecycle and post-production analysis. Develop scripts to improve data processing efficiency. Complete and support customer test setups and releases to production. Provide application-level testing support (debugging, calibration). Train and support operators running complex setups. Develop utilization KPIs and engineering reports. Monitor and present monthly utilization metrics. Cross-train on handler and prober maintenance. Train technicians on standards and configurations.
