We are currently looking for a Parking Manager for one of our locations in Ottawa
Job Description
The Enforcement Officer ensures that all parking rules are followed without exception. The Parking Enforcement Officer must ensure we consistently meet the client’s expectations by providing excellent customer service. They are also the ambassador for the company as well as the venue. Will also be responsible for monthly audits and reporting on issues found on site while patrolling.
Schedule
One hour of enforcement, five days a week, at the Kingston VIA Rail train station located at 1800 John Counter Blvd, Kingston, ON K7M 7H3. Flexible on when that hour each day is performed.
5 hours per week.
Responsibilities
Patrol an assigned area by personal vehicle
Issue warnings and quotes for illegally parked vehicles (using LPR vehicle system)
Identify vehicles in violation of parking codes
Make arrangements for illegally parked or abandoned vehicles to be towed, and direct tow-truck drivers to the correct vehicles
Observe and report hazardous conditions, such as the replacement of unsafe signage within the lot, etc.
Prepare and maintain required records, including parking enforcement, operational records, and records of quoted quotations
Maintain assigned equipment and supplies such as hand-held computers, quote book, etc.
Provide information to the public regarding parking regulations and facilities
Inform the public about policies, services or procedures
Identify stolen and counterfeit parking permits
Duties as assigned by the manager
Qualifications
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Cautious and courteous driver, with a valid full provincial driver's license and a clean driving record
Confidence in problem-solving and the ability to manage stressful situations
Ability to clearly and accurately communicate both written and verbal
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Basic knowledge of handheld computers, personal computer (Windows XP/Mobile), and mobile phone features
Assets

Exceptional time management and organizational capabilities
Flexible schedule and ability to work evenings and weekends if necessary
