Description Position # : 9011581 Expected Start Date: June 05, 2026 Union: HSAS Facility: Eastend Wolf Willow Health Centre City/Town: Eastend Department: Ambulance - Land Type: Part-time regular FTE: 0.67 Shift Information: Days, Nights, Evenings, Weekends, Standby Number of Hours per Rotation: 300.16 hours per 12 weeks Relief: No Float: No Hours of Work: EMS Hours Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Emergency Medical Technician $29.909 to $36.572 Travel Required: Yes Job Description: Reporting to the Manager or designate for the area of province they are working, the Emergency Medical Services - EMT/PCP responds to emergency and non-emergency events, and provides assessment, treatment and transportation of the ill or injured persons consistent with The Saskatchewan Ambulance Act and Regulations; Saskatchewan College of Paramedics (SCoP) Clinical Practice Protocols; The Paramedics Act and bylaws; and Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) policies, procedures and work standards. Human Resources Exemption: No Education Primary Care Paramedic Certificate from an approved educational institute Licenses Valid Class 4 driver's license Other Education and Training International Trauma Life Support Certificate (ITLS) Current Basic Life Support-Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation(BLS-CPR) certification Competencies Demonstrates responsible decision-making ability through the application of critical thinking Listening skills Written Communication Skills Verbal communication skills Interpersonal skills Knowledge and Abilities Familiar with the SK Ministry of Health Ambulance Information System.
