Position Overview
We are looking for a highly experienced
EMC Engineering Delegate (DAD/DAR)
to lead certification activities and make compliance findings under delegated authority.
Key Responsibilities
Act as
DAD/DAR delegate
for EMC compliance
Review, approve, and sign off certification documentation
Lead compliance demonstration activities and test validations
Interpret and apply certification regulations (TCCA / FAA / EASA)
Interface with regulatory authorities and support certification strategy
Approve engineering changes and ensure continued airworthiness
Mentor engineering teams on certification requirements
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
8–10+ years of EMC experience in aerospace
Must hold or be eligible for
DAD/DAR delegation (Transport Canada)
Strong experience in certification programs (Part 25 / CAR 525)
Technical Skills
Advanced knowledge of
EMC/EMI, transmission lines, signal integrity
Deep understanding of
DO-160, SAE ARPs, regulatory frameworks
Proven ability to make compliance findings independently
Strong communication with regulators and cross-functional teams
