A home office or another quiet computer workspace is appropriate for detailed review. The hiring company will confirm its systems and schedule.
The campaign copy has been approved; the final online email still needs a careful read before sending. The Email Proof Review Assistant compares a test message with the supplied source, spots missing links or obvious formatting issues, and records findings for the campaign owner. This is remote marketing support with office administration discipline and a customer service view of what recipients will actually see. You do not create an offer or authorize the send.
Review the proof, not an old draft
A test email may have the correct headline but an outdated date in the footer. Open the current approved version and compare it with the latest test message. Check the subject, visible text, links, and important numbers against the source provided. If an image fails to display, note where and in which view. Do not rewrite a sentence simply because you prefer another tone; identify discrepancies and let the owner decide any copy change.
A campaign may target several segments. Check which audience the proof represents before assuming a greeting or offer is wrong. If a change is made after your review, the final version may need another check. Keep your status attached to the version you actually examined. A clean exception note should tell the team what you saw, where, and what source you used.
Things you may inspect
Subject and preview text against the approved brief.
Dates, amounts, names, and links in the visible email.
Images and layout in the designated test views.
Required footer elements supplied by the campaign owner.
Whether the test is for the correct audience segment.
Corrections made after an earlier review.
The final status and remaining issues in the online tracker.
Previous marketing employment is not necessary. Experience in customer service, office administration, proofreading, or careful online communication can help, and the employer will train you on its test process. You should be able to compare text precisely and report an error without silently changing approved content.
A proof email can contain the right words but still point a button to an earlier campaign page. Compare the approved brief, the subject line, the visible copy and each destination in the test message. Check whether a personalization field is displaying a sample value or an unresolved token; do not put a real customer's information into a casual test. Note the exact version and where an error appears so the campaign owner can correct it. After a new proof arrives, check the corrected area again and make clear whether your notes apply to the first or the latest version.
What an exception note should contain
The test email or version examined.
The exact visible phrase, figure, or link in question.
Where it appeared in the message.
The approved source it should match.
Whether a correction was requested or confirmed.
The current owner of the unresolved issue.
Do not rely solely on a spellchecker. A correctly spelled product name in the wrong offer is still an error, and a date can look plausible while belonging to an older campaign. The team may ask for a quick recheck after edits. Confirm that you are viewing the newest test send, not a cached copy from the earlier round. A concise report helps the owner make the final call without turning your role into an unapproved copywriter.
There may be a separate mobile test view. Check it when the campaign instructions call for it, since a button or line break may change what a reader can see. If the message contains personalization, use only the designated test records. A field that displays a placeholder should be reported with the exact test context, not automatically attributed to the final audience. The campaign owner will decide whether the issue blocks release. Your record should separate a confirmed error from a question about intended wording.
Apply for consideration
Describe a time you caught an error before information was sent to others. A school, volunteer, or work example is suitable. Tell us which detail you would check first in a proof email.
A practical example matters more than knowledge of a particular email platform. You do not need to present a marketing portfolio. The hiring team may send selected candidates to its website for a further application step. The team will explain its approval chain to those moving ahead.
