Part-Time Temporary
Elementary Teacher for a work assignment at Guthrie
School.
Located on CFB Edmonton Garrison military base, Guthrie School is just minutes north of Edmonton and St. Albert. The school serves approximately 300 students from Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 9 with a team of 40 staff. Guthrie is known for fostering critical thinking, engagement, and creativity in problem-solving, while providing students with the skills and knowledge they need to reach their full potential.
Teachers play a foundational role in shaping both student learning and student well-being. This position directly influences how students experience school each day academically, socially, and emotionally. Through intentional instruction, strong relationships, and inclusive practices, you help create the conditions where every learner feels seen, supported, and capable of success. Beyond the classroom, your work contributes to a positive school culture and strengthens the broader school community by fostering curiosity, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning.
