Work collaboratively with clients, project managers, engineers, designers and drafters in the preparation of deliverables to BBA and client standards Establish client needs, prepare or review project deliverables, reports, estimates, specifications, quotations and proposals Lead, supervise, train, and mentor junior engineers during the project execution Create project scope of services, budgets and schedules Plan and monitor work assignments and costs Communicate with the client on active and future projects Do your qualities and values match our corporate culture? Desire to motivate and develop the next generation Strong commitment to health and safety Inspirational leadership Constantly seeking sustainable and agile solutions Fascination for innovation Willingness to transform the world for the better Overview Of Certifications And Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university P.Eng. or eligible to register with EGBC as a P.Eng Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience with power distribution systems in the mining, industrial, or municipality sectors Experience preparing and reviewing technical documents such as reports, specifications, design drawings, studies, plans, and instructions Practical knowledge of MV & LV distribution in industrial plants, including single line diagrams, site layouts, panel layouts, schematics, grounding, and lighting Practical knowledge of motor control and drive Practical knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC) Experience preparing HV/MV/LV electrical equipment specifications Experience preparing and reviewing project estimates Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills Strong and demonstrated critical thinking skills A valid driver’s license Able to travel to customer sites and other BBA offices within Canada, the USA, and international destinations for project short-term assignments, such as site meetings, field reviews, site assessments, tests, and more An Overview Of BBA’s Total Rewards Annual base salary from $121,000 to $148,000 Annual premium program for regular employees Onsite mobility premium Time bank Cellphone fee reimbursements Group insurance plan from the first day of employment, including disability insurance and a telemedicine program Retirement savings plan Annual vacation and sick leave Premium for employee referrals BBA considers many factors when determining the annual base salary, including location, market, education, relevant and demonstrated work experience, technical assessment, qualifications, certifications and other relevant skills.
