Job DescriptionJob Description Job Summary We are looking for a reliable and experienced minimum 3 years Electric & Propane Forklift Operator to join our team in Baie-d’Urfé, Quebec. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving, loading, unloading, and storing materials within our warehouse and facility. Responsibilities Safely operate electric and propane forklifts. Load and unload trucks and trailers. Move and organize materials, pallets, and products within the warehouse. Safely stack and retrieve materials from designated storage areas. Verify quantities and inspect products for damage. Assist with receiving and shipping activities. Follow all workplace health and safety procedures. Perform daily forklift inspections and report any mechanical or safety issues. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Assist with general warehouse duties as required. Work efficiently while maintaining a high level of accuracy and safety. Qualifications Previous2-3 yrs experience operating electric and propane forklifts . Valid forklift certification or demonstrated competency in accordance with applicable Quebec workplace requirements. Warehouse, shipping/receiving, or material-handling experience is an asset. Ability to safely lift and handle materials as required. Good attention to detail and safety awareness. Reliable, punctual, and dependable. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to communicate effectively in English; French is an asset. Le/la cariste sera responsable de la manutention, du déplacement, du chargement et du déchargement des marchandises, tout en respectant rigoureusement les normes de santé et sécurité. Principales responsabilités Conduire de façon sécuritaire des chariots élévateurs électriques et au propane. Charger et décharger les camions. Déplacer, empiler et entreposer les palettes et marchandises. Effectuer la réception et l’expédition des produits. Vérifier les marchandises et signaler tout dommage ou problème. Effectuer les inspections quotidiennes des chariots élévateurs. Respecter les procédures de santé et sécurité de l’entreprise. Maintenir l’entrepôt propre, organisé et sécuritaire. Effectuer des tâches générales de manutention au besoin. Exigences Minimum de 2 à 3 ans d’expérience comme cariste. Expérience pratique avec les chariots élévateurs électriques et au propane . Certification de cariste valide ou expérience conforme aux exigences applicables. Expérience en entrepôt et en manutention de marchandises. Bonne capacité physique. Excellent sens de la sécurité et de l’organisation. Ponctualité, fiabilité et attitude professionnelle. Capacité à travailler seul et en équipe. Anglais requis; français, un atout.
