The incumbent will be expected to work in the office as determined by policy and discussion with their supervisor. This position provides executive leadership to guide MnDOT’s strategic direction, overseeing agency‑wide planning, organizational development, and management of programs and services. It integrates administrative, human resources, financial, and information resources to support the delivery of Minnesota’s transportation system. The role sets and manages agency policies and strategies, representing the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and Executive Leadership Team (ELT) to ensure consistent business practices across MnDOT. Occasional in‑state travel is required approximately 5% of the time. Minimum Qualifications Three years of managerial experience OR four years of professional supervisory experience that demonstrates the following: Experience leading and implementing strategic planning for financial, policy, and legislative initiatives in a large organization.
