Job DescriptionJob Description Dispatcher We are hiring a Dispatcher for a major transportation & logistics client based out of Woodstock, ON . In this role, you will coordinate daily transportation operations, communicate with drivers, and ensure freight is dispatched safely, efficiently, and on schedule. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced transportation dispatcher looking for a stable full-time position in a fast-paced environment. What we offer: Consistent ongoing opportunity Competitive pay of $25.00/hour 40 hours per week – Full Time Schedule: Monday to Friday 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM Supportive team environment Immediate start available Weekly Pay What you do: Coordinate and dispatch drivers efficiently to meet daily operational requirements Monitor routes and maintain communication with drivers throughout their shifts Respond promptly to schedule changes and resolve transportation or delivery issues Maintain accurate dispatch records and update transportation management systems Communicate with customers, drivers, and internal teams regarding shipment status and service updates Ensure compliance with company policies, transportation regulations, and safety procedures Provide timely operational support to drivers and escalate issues when required Assist with scheduling and planning to maximize fleet utilization and on-time performance What We're Looking For: Minimum 2 years of dispatch experience in the transportation industry Previous experience using Truck Mate is required Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment Good computer skills with strong attention to detail Ability to work the scheduled Monday to Friday afternoon shift Reliable, professional, and customer-focused If this sounds like a fit for you, we invite you to apply today or call 905-279-9000 !
