Job DescriptionJob Description Dispatch Coordinator(Bilingual French/English) – Temp to Perm Full-Time | On-Site | Montreal, QC $21–$25/hour Shift: 10:30am- to 6:30 or 11:00am to 7:00pm We are currently seeking an experienced and highly organized Bilingual Dispatcher to join our operations team in an urgent hiring need. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity with strong potential to transition from temporary to permanent employment. The ideal candidate is fluent in both French and English, thrives in a fast-paced transportation environment, and is confident managing routing, driver coordination, and real-time operational support. Key Responsibilities Coordinate truck routing based on geography, scope of work, and delivery volumes Print batch orders and generate manifests for daily trips Create and manage BOLs and dispatch paperwork using TruckMate Monitor order statuses, route completion, dock activity, and assignments Review end-of-day reports to confirm next-day orders and scheduling Organize and file dispatch documentation accurately Generate paperwork for warehouse staging teams Coordinate same-day customer requests with Customer Service Monitor GPS routes in real time to ensure operational efficiency Support driver communications and customer pre-calls regarding arrival times Assist drivers operating from Montreal and Quebec regions Support morning driver startup and daily dispatch operations Remain accessible via company phone if crews are still operating after hours Perform additional duties as required Qualifications Fully bilingual in French and English (spoken and written) Previous dispatch or transportation coordination experience preferred Experience with TruckMate is considered a strong asset Strong knowledge of MS Office Excellent organizational and multitasking skills Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and problem-solving abilities Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team Flexibility to support operational demands and vacation coverage when needed This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing operations team in a dynamic transportation environment.
