Job DescriptionJob Description Job title: Dishwasher Duration: 3 weeks (with possible extension) Shift: 2nd Shift 10 am to 9.30 pm (Full time 35+ hour per week) Saturday to Sunday Location: Burlington, Ontario, CAN, L7T 4K1 Payrate: 17.60$ /hr. on T4. Description: Maintains a clean supply of dishes, silverware, cooking utensils, and trays that comply with Food Safety Standards. Washes dishes, glassware, and flatware in a properly maintained dish machine and washes and sanitizes pots, pans, and utensils by hand. Cleans, operates, and maintains equipment according to safety, health and sanitation laws and guidelines standards. Maintains a clean restaurant by removing all used dishes, pots, pans, utensils, silverware, and trays to the dish room and returning them to the prep and serving areas once clean. Follows food handling, health, safety, hygiene and sanitation regulations and guidelines. Removes and empties trash following waste management and environmental policies. Ensures proper use of chemicals for dishwashing equipment and cleaning. Performs Dish Room opening and closing routines as assigned. Provides visitors with a positive shopping/dining experience by ensuring guest convenience standards are met or exceeded. Uses available resources to maintain and update knowledge on Food Service products, services and guest interaction skills.
