Job DescriptionJob Description Dishwasher & Salad Prep Assistant Position Summary Amedeo's Italian Bistro is seeking a hardworking, reliable, and team-oriented Dishwasher & Salad Prep Assistant to join our kitchen team. This position plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, organized kitchen while assisting with the preparation of fresh salads and basic food preparation tasks. Key Responsibilities Dishwashing & Cleaning Wash dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment promptly and efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the kitchen. Empty garbage and recycling containers as needed. Sweep and mop kitchen floors. Assist with closing and deep-cleaning duties. Salad & Food Preparation Prepare fresh salads, vegetables, and garnishes according to restaurant standards. Wash, peel, chop, and portion ingredients. Ensure all prep items are properly labeled and stored. Maintain food safety and sanitation procedures at all times. Assist cooks and chefs with basic food preparation as required. Qualifications Previous restaurant experience is an asset but not required. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong work ethic and attention to detail. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
