About the Opportunity
Envy Consulting Group has been retained by a leading and rapidly growing owner-operator in the Canadian senior living sector to recruit a Director of Sales for Québec. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving occupancy, revenue growth, and market expansion across a portfolio of retirement residences. The successful candidate will lead regional sales strategy, strengthen referral networks, optimize lead conversion, and build a high-performing sales culture that consistently exceeds occupancy targets.
This role is ideal for a senior sales leader who thrives in a performance-driven environment and has a proven track record of growing occupancy within the retirement living, healthcare, or hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth
Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve occupancy and revenue targets
Identify opportunities to increase market share across existing and new communities
Partner with executive leadership on pricing, promotions, and growth initiatives
Monitor competitive activity and market trends to drive strategic decision-making
Occupancy Management
Drive lead generation, conversion, and move-in performance across multiple residences
Establish accountability measures and performance metrics for community sales teams
Implement best practices to improve inquiry management and sales effectiveness
Forecast occupancy trends and proactively address gaps
Lead, mentor, and develop Community Relations and Sales Managers
Create a culture of performance, accountability, and customer service excellence
Conduct regular coaching, pipeline reviews, and performance evaluations
Support recruitment and onboarding of sales talent
Referral Development & Community Engagement
Build and strengthen relationships with healthcare professionals, hospitals, community organizations, and referral partners
Identify strategic partnership opportunities that generate qualified leads
Represent the organization at networking events and industry functions
Partner with the marketing team on digital and local marketing initiatives
Evaluate campaign performance and ROI
Support brand awareness and reputation management efforts across the region
CRM & Performance Analytics
Leverage CRM systems to monitor lead sources, conversion ratios, and occupancy performance
Develop reporting dashboards and actionable insights
Use data to continuously refine sales strategies and improve results
Qualifications
Minimum 7+ years of senior sales leadership experience
Proven success driving occupancy growth within retirement living, senior housing, healthcare, hospitality, or related sectors
Experience leading multi-site sales teams
Strong understanding of CRM systems, sales analytics, and pipeline management
Exceptional leadership, coaching, and relationship-building skills
Strong business acumen and strategic thinking capabilities
Bilingual French/English strongly preferred
Ability to travel regularly throughout Québec
