$120,000–$140,000 base salary + bonus (up to 30%), quarterly profit sharing, benefits
A well‑established Western Canadian food distributor is seeking a
Director of Sales
to lead its sales organization and drive the next phase of growth. This role reports directly to ownership and oversees sales strategy, team leadership, customer development, and overall departmental performance.
Key Responsibilities
Coach and develop a high‑performing sales team, leading weekly sales meetings
Build and strengthen relationships with key customers, suppliers, and partners.
Support major account negotiations and strategic initiatives.
Identify and pursue new business across retail, foodservice, and wholesale
Establish goals, KPIs and sales processes
Qualifications
10+ years of sales experience with leadership responsibility.
Proven success developing people and driving measurable growth.
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.
Strong financial acumen.
Experience in food distribution, grocery, foodservice, or CPG preferred.
Ability to travel throughout Western Canada.
