With thousands of successfully completed projects and 9 showroom locations across Ontario, we are investing in our people, systems, and leadership structure as we prepare for the next stage of growth.
To support this evolution, we are seeking a Director of Retail Sales to help create greater consistency, accountability, and performance across our showroom network. This individual will play a key role in developing leaders, establishing clear sales standards and expectations, and building the structure needed to support a high‑performing retail sales organization.
Role Purpose
The Director of Retail Sales is responsible for improving overall showroom performance by driving revenue growth, strengthening operational processes, coaching leaders, and ensuring a consistent, high‑quality customer experience across all showroom locations. It is a hands‑on leadership role that requires an active in‑person presence within showrooms – working closely with managers and teams to support performance, while also building sustainable systems and long‑term solutions that reduce day‑to‑day inefficiencies.
This role partners closely with leadership, operations, and revenue‑generating teams (including marketing, customer coordination, and customer service) to create scalable systems, align strategies, and support long‑term growth.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement sales strategies to improve conversion rates, revenue performance, and average project value while maintaining strong profit margins
Create consistency in the customer journey across all showroom locations
Identify opportunities to enhance the sales process and overall customer experience
Partner with leadership to define sales standards, expectations, and best practices
2. Leadership Development & Coaching
Coach and support District Managers and kitchen designers/sales to improve performance
Build accountability within leadership teams while maintaining a supportive and engaging culture
Identify leadership gaps and create targeted development plans
Support managers in improving team engagement, productivity, and retention
3. Operational Excellence
Partner with operations teams to build and implement scalable systems and processes that improve efficiency
Reduce operational inefficiencies and recurring issues across locations
Support managers with overflow of day‑to‑day operations as needed, while prioritizing long‑term solutions
Ensure consistent execution of processes and standards across all showrooms
4. Cross‑Functional Alignment
Actively coordinate with marketing, customer coordination, finance, operations, merchandise and customer service teams to align goals and strategies
Ensure decisions and initiatives reflect the full customer journey
Strengthen collaboration across departments to improve outcomes and efficiency
5. Process Improvement & Documentation
Document key processes, workflows, and operational standards
Partner with People team to create clarity around roles, responsibilities, and decision‑making
Reduce reliance on reactive problem‑solving by implementing proactive, scalable solutions
Address root causes of recurring issues through structured improvements
Champion departmental change by helping leaders and teams understand, adopt, and sustain new ways of working that improve performance and customer experience.
6. Performance Management & Continuous Improvement
Partner with Finance, Operations, and People teams to define performance expectations, establish clear KPIs, and create consistent reporting and accountability structures across all locations.
Monitor sales performance and identify trends, risks, and opportunities
Create consistent communication rhythms and accountability structures
Continuously identify and implement opportunities for improvement

Required Experience
5+ years of sales leadership experience
Experience managing multiple locations, teams, or sales managers
Proven track record of improving sales performance and accountability
Experience coaching and developing leaders
Experience implementing processes, KPIs, and performance management systems
Strong analytical and business acumen
Preferred Experience
Experience within retail, home improvement, renovation, construction, cabinetry, kitchens, flooring, furniture, or related industries
Experience leading a multi‑location sales organization
Experience supporting organizational growth and change
Compensation
Base Salary of $90,000 Annually
Performance bonus
Revenue‑based override
Dental, vision, life/AD&D and extended health coverage
Must hold a valid drivers license and access to a personal vehicle
