Schlegel Villages offers an exciting opportunity for a Director of Nursing Care to join the team at Erin Mills Lodge in Mississauga, which currently serves 76 residents. This role presents a unique chance to support the transition of the Erin Mills Lodge team and residents to The Village of Heritage Trails in Oakville, which will serve 320 residents upon opening.

Compensation
Hiring Range: $103,000-$110,900

Qualifications
Current registration as a Registered Nurse (RN) with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
Current Heart Safe Level of CPR.
Three (3) years of experience leading and directing department(s) in a healthcare setting.
Excellent communication skills.
Excitement for the village objectives, philosophy, and family values that shape all aspects of life in a Schlegel Village.
Maintains a caring and respectful attitude toward residents, families, and team members.
Understanding of the physical, mental, and emotional demands of the Assistant Director of Nursing Care role.
Preferred Qualifications
RNAO/RPNAO membership.
MDS credentialed (optional depending on village size).
Awareness and understanding of infection control practices, WHMIS, and relevant health and safety procedures.
Skill in operating common hand and power tools.
