Canadian Executive Search Group Inc. is seeking a Glocal Director of IT for a Chatham Kent Manufacturer Global Director of Information Technology (IT) Job Summary The Global Director of Information Technology (IT) is responsible for defining and executing the Company's global IT strategy while leading enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives. This role oversees the development, implementation, and management of the organization's global IT infrastructure, systems, cybersecurity, and technology roadmap. Working closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams, the Global Director of IT ensures technology initiatives align with business objectives, support operational excellence, enhance cybersecurity, and enable scalable growth across all global locations. This position is instrumental in driving innovation, improving business processes, and delivering reliable, secure, and efficient IT services worldwide. Education Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Master's degree or MBA is considered an asset. Experience Minimum of 10 years of progressive IT leadership experience at the Director or Manager level. Proven experience supporting multi-site and/or multinational operations. Demonstrated success developing and executing global IT strategies aligned with business objectives. Experience leading enterprise digital transformation initiatives, including ERP implementations, cloud migration, automation, and data analytics. Strong background in standardizing global IT systems, cybersecurity practices, and business processes. Experience managing regional IT teams within matrixed organizations and leading cross-functional initiatives. Language Requirements English (written and verbal). The successful candidate must be able to: Sit for extended periods while working at a computer. Travel domestically and internationally to Company facilities. Work within manufacturing environments requiring the use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Move throughout office and manufacturing facilities as required. Occasionally work outside of regular business hours to support global operations across multiple time zones.
