Description Reporting to senior management, the Director of Finance acts as a strategic partner and oversees overall financial management within a complex organizational environment. The incumbent plays a central role in financial planning and decision-making support, while contributing to certain cross-functional corporate functions. This position combines both strategic and operational responsibilities and requires strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with senior management. Main Responsibilities Act as a strategic partner to senior management Lead financial planning, the annual budget, and forecasting, as well as their presentation to decision-making bodies Monitor financial performance and make strategic recommendations Manage financial operations in a complex environment Ensure compliance with senior management requirements and organizational policies Implement and maintain rigorous internal controls Oversee financial audits and serve as the primary point of contact with external auditors Lead, motivate, and develop the teams under your responsibility Ensure effective management of financial and accounting operations Participate in corporate decisions related to infrastructure and organizational assets Support certain negotiations related to corporate and operational commitments Contribute to the continuous improvement of the company’s procedures, tools, and practices Other requirement for the role Occasional travel between different locations Required Qualifications Education Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or equivalent Hold a recognized professional designation (CPA) Professional Experience Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience, including 5 to 7 years on an executive committee Exposure to cross-functional corporate roles Experience in complex organizational environments (an asset) Experience in professional services or project management (an asset) Skills Solid experience in financial management in complex environments Experience in government funding, reporting, and tax credits Advanced analytical, financial planning, and modeling skills Experience in internal controls and audit management Proven ability to optimize and improve financial processes Bilingual (French and English) in both spoken and written communication Abilities Inspiring leadership and a collaborative approach Strong negotiation skills and ability to manage strategic issues Ability to thrive in changing environments Excellent ability to explain and communicate financial information Ability to interact with various stakeholders while acting as a strategic partner Analytical mindset focused on solutions and continuous improvement Why Join our Client Innovative organization undergoing transformation A dedicated team and a collaborative professional environment Support for professional development Flexible schedule and work arrangements Competitive benefits Follow TALINKO on LinkedIn Only the people selected for an interview will be contacted.
