Full-Time | Permanent | Hybrid (4 Days On-Site, 1 WFH) Insight Global is seeking a Director of Finance to join a growing hospitality and real estate organization on a full-time, permanent basis in Toronto. Reporting directly to the CEO, this individual will serve as the senior finance leader responsible for driving financial strategy while building the processes, systems, and infrastructure needed to support continued growth across Canada, the United States, and Mexico. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands‑on finance leader who thrives in entrepreneurial, high‑growth environments and enjoys building scalable finance functions from the ground up. The successful candidate will play a key role in modernizing financial operations, improving reporting visibility, and providing leadership with accurate, actionable financial insights to support strategic decision‑making. Key Responsibilities Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, cash flow management, payroll oversight, tax coordination, and internal controls Build and improve finance systems, processes, and reporting infrastructure across the organization Develop KPI reporting and operational dashboards to support executive decision‑making Own month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close processes Improve AP/AR processes and enhance cash flow forecasting capabilities Implement robust revenue reconciliation processes across multiple booking channels and payment platforms Develop property‑level and cost‑centre reporting across a growing portfolio Partner closely with executive leadership and cross‑functional teams to support business growth initiatives Lead and mentor the finance team while collaborating with external accounting partners Drive automation, efficiency improvements, and financial visibility across the business Must‑Have Qualifications 8+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience Experience as a Director of Finance, Controller, Assistant Controller, Senior Accounting Manager, or similar leadership role Proven ownership of budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and cash flow management Strong background building or improving finance functions, systems, and processes Experience leading month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close processes Experience supporting multi‑entity organizations Strong understanding of Canadian accounting standards and cross‑border financial operations Experience developing financial reporting infrastructure, KPIs, and executive reporting frameworks Demonstrated leadership experience managing and mentoring finance or accounting teams Strong communication skills and ability to provide strategic financial guidance to leadership Entrepreneurial and hands‑on mindset Nice‑to‑Have Qualifications Hospitality, hotel, short‑term rental, restaurant, real estate, or property management experience Startup or high‑growth company experience Multi‑currency and cross‑border accounting experience Lender reporting, debt facilities, financing initiatives, or investor reporting exposure Financial systems implementation and automation experience Experience building finance departments from the ground up Experience managing complex revenue reconciliation across multiple sales channels and payment platforms If you're a strategic finance leader who enjoys creating scalable processes, improving operational visibility, and driving business growth in a fast‑paced environment, we invite you to apply! #J-18808-Ljbffr
