This isn't a numbers-after-the-fact role, we're looking for a real business partner who sits at the table with Sales, Operations, and Product, shaping decisions rather than just reporting on them. You'll navigate complexity most finance professionals never get exposure to, multiple product lines across SaaS and AI , and multi-entity operations spanning five countries. What You Will Do Lead the financial reporting process hands-on, including consolidated financial statements, monthly management reports, and analysis that actually drives decisions Operate as a strategic business partner to cross-functional leaders, proactively surfacing insight rather than waiting to be asked, and make the CFO's day-to-day meaningfully easier Guide financial decisions across BoomerangFX's SaaS and AI product lines , genuinely new ground, where your judgment on where to invest will directly shape outcomes Own accounting records and documentation, including bank and credit card reconciliations, inter-company accounts, payroll, AR/AP, and HST filings Serve as the main point of contact for year-end external audits Manage accounting controls and tools ( QuickBooks Online, Ceridian, Float ), and lead the modernization of financial systems and reporting, genuinely rebuilding infrastructure for scale rather than maintaining what's already there Support the annual forecasting and budgeting cycle Ensure compliance with local law, tax provisions, and relevant industry and financial regulations What We Are Looking For We care more about what you know and how you lead than the letters after your name. That said, here's the foundation we're looking for: Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting , or a related field CPA designation (Canada) preferred; candidates with equivalent professional experience, strong technical command of financial reporting and controls, or CPA in progress are encouraged to apply.
