About The Job The CRA seeks dynamic, collaborative and strategic leaders to advance the People First vision and improve IT services delivery across the organization. Essential Requirements Have a degree (bachelor's or higher) or diploma in computer science, information technology, software/computer engineering, management information systems, or equivalent career‑long IT experience and relevant education. Have recent and significant experience at the executive level in all of the following criteria: Delivery of multiple complex projects at the executive level or equivalent. Leadership and management of IT programs in a large‑scale, multi‑client environment. Establishment and maintenance of relationships with key stakeholders, including internal business clients, other government departments, agencies, and at least two external stakeholders. Management of human and financial resources, including explicit reporting of direct reports, subordinates, and budget figures for each relevant position. Preference may be given to candidates who self‑identify as Indigenous Peoples and/or visible minority, and for those with a depth, breadth and relevance of experience. Assets Broad and deep knowledge of emerging technologies such as AI, cloud and quantum. Experience delivering results in complex environments with legacy and modern technologies. Experience in modern IT development practices (DevSecOps, API, product management, cloud). Experience working in a large decentralized organization (geographically distributed, >5,000 employees). Conditions of Employment Secret security clearance level. Willingness to travel. Willingness to relocate to the National Capital Region (NCR). All appointments to the Executive group are subject to the lateral movement provision. Language Requirements Bilingual – CBC levels. Valid, non‑expired Second Language Evaluation test results at CBC level at the time of application.
