Overview The Director, FP&A Transformation is accountable for leading the delivery and execution of initiatives under the Global FP&A transformation program. This role drives process optimization, systems implementation and enablement (e.g., Anaplan), data governance, and operating model transformation to support scalable, insight-driven decision‑making. Reporting to the AVP, FP&A Transformation, the role encompasses project delivery, business analysis, and FP&A technology implementation. The Director will partner closely with FP&A teams, the Global Finance Anaplan CoE, Global Functions Technology, Global Data teams, and Global Shared Services to deliver strategic improvements aligned with the broader Finance Strategy and Enablement agenda. Responsibilities Lead end‑to‑end delivery of transformation initiatives, implementing and optimizing planning tools, and driving standardization and automation of planning, forecasting, and reporting processes. Oversee ongoing enhancement, change request, and support of the assigned initiatives and communicate updates to partners. Partner with Group Functions Technology and Group Data Office teams in IT to demonstrate best practices for sharing expense data and reporting globally. Manage project deliverables, roadmaps, owners, and status for the various transformation initiatives. Collaborate with business partners on project and/or business needs, finding opportunities for operational efficiency and effectiveness through global standardization and automation. Create and maintain thorough and accurate documentation of procedures for control and training. Drive robust FP&A data governance to elevate data quality, consistency, accessibility, and ensure full compliance with regulatory standards. Lead and execute stakeholder engagement strategy across Finance, Business, and Technology teams to support FP&A transformation objectives. Build strong relationships with executive sponsors, Segment/BU FP&A business partners, and key stakeholders to drive alignment and decision‑making. Establish feedback loops and champion networks to capture insights, address resistance, and ensure sustainable adoption of new FP&A processes and systems. Drive change management and user adoption through targeted communication, training, and stakeholder‑specific messaging. Develop training programs and communication plans to support user adoption. Champion a data‑driven culture within Finance. Required Qualifications University degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA/CPA preferred). 10+ years of experience in Finance Transformation, Business Analysis, Project Management, or Consulting. Proven track record delivering large‑scale finance transformation programs in Asset and Wealth Management and Insurance. Strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving capabilities. Proficiency in FP&A tools (e.g., Anaplan, Power BI, Alteryx). Results‑driven, detail‑oriented approach. Strong understanding of financial planning processes (budgeting, forecasting, scenario planning, what‑if analysis). Experience working in a broad Matrix organization, listening and using influence to make an impact. Positive reputation to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal, within and/or beyond their business area. Preferred Qualifications Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset; proficiency in both languages required for Québec. Experience working across multiple geographies and time zones. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively across cultures, geographies and senior leadership. Excellent English written and verbal communication skills. Sound operations management acumen with a solid understanding of the business environment through practical experience. Innovative thinker who can negotiate, influence and challenge the status quo to continuously improve processes. Highly organized with the ability to work in a fast‑paced, multi‑stakeholder environment and manage multiple priorities. Adaptable, curious, and continuously improving mindset, balancing priorities while delivering innovative, business‑focused FP&A solutions. Experience with AI/advanced analytics (e.g., predictive forecasting, machine learning models, or AI‑enabled planning tools) to enhance FP&A insights and decision‑making. Strong interest in staying updated with the latest technology trends and innovations. Working Arrangement: Hybrid. Salary range: $118,300.00 ‑ $168,300.00CAD.
