We are looking for a Director, Corporate Affairs to contribute to the success of ongoing projects. Reporting to the Vice President, Legal Affairs, this position requires a presence at the Quebec City office three days a week.
Responsibilities:
Actively contribute to acquisition, financing, and strategic partnership files by aligning the group's legal and commercial objectives;
Oversee corporate secretarial activities for the parent company and its subsidiaries, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and best governance practices
Develop, update, and oversee the application of corporate policies and procedures;
Ensure the implementation and maintenance of export control policies within the group;
Manage the portfolio of commercial insurance plans to protect the group's assets and operations
Administer and oversee stock option and purchase plans in collaboration with stakeholders
Collaborate with external counsel for the effective management of strategic legal matters;
Support the implementation of various operational projects in collaboration with internal and external teams.

Qualifications/Education:
Member of the Quebec Bar
Bilingual in French and English, with excellent communication skills.
Experience/Skills:
Five or more years of relevant experience
Experience in the context of acquisitions of international companies and groups (an asset).
Excellent analytical, business judgment, and problem-solving skills.
Strong business acumen and entrepreneurial spirit.
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize.
Proven leadership, with strong persuasion and negotiation skills.
High level of autonomy, initiative and collaborative approach focused on teamwork
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
Work Environment:
Works in a general office environment
Occasional domestic and/or international travel
