This role is designed for a commercial‑lending expert who combines deep knowledge of credit products and deal economics with advanced analytical skills. The successful candidate will partner closely with senior leaders to drive data‑informed decisions across lending strategy, pricing, portfolio performance, and client profitability.This role sits at the intersection of commercial banking, credit, pricing strategy, and advanced analytics, translating complex data into practical insights that shape lending decisions and competitive positioning.Key ResponsibilitiesCommercial Lending Analytics & Strategic AdvisoryServe as a trusted advisor to senior commercial banking leaders, providing insights on lending strategy, pricing, portfolio performance, and client profitabilityAct as a subject matter expert on commercial lending products, including term loans, revolving credit facilities, guarantees, and structured solutionsApply strong understanding of credit risk, return metrics (RAROC, ROE), and capital considerations to pricing and portfolio recommendationsConduct in-depth analyses of deal economics, pricing effectiveness, client behavior, and competitive dynamicsTranslate analytical findings into clear, executive-ready recommendations that support growth, risk, and profitability objectivesPricing & Product EnablementPartner with business leaders to enhance lending pricing frameworks, ensuring alignment with risk appetite, capital usage, and market conditionsTranslate commercial and client needs into well-defined product and pricing requirements, supported by rigorous financial analysisDevelop investment and enhancement business cases, including expected returns, risk sensitivities, and portfolio impactsSupport product changes and launches by coordinating with sales, credit, technology, and operations on tools, analytics, training, and documentationData & Analytics ExecutionLeverage SQL, Python, or similar tools to extract, analyze, and interpret large commercial banking datasetsBuild scalable analytical models and dashboards to support pricing, portfolio monitoring, and deal-level decisioningAutomate recurring reporting and analytical workflows to improve timeliness, consistency, and insight generationCollaborate with data engineering and analytics teams to improve data quality, lineage, and analytical infrastructureQualificationsExperience & Commercial Banking Expertise5–7+ years of experience in commercial banking, lending analytics, pricing, or related financial services rolesStrong understanding of commercial credit fundamentals, including deal structuring, pricing drivers, and portfolio performanceExperience applying analytics to lending decisions, portfolio optimization, or pricing strategyAnalytics & Technical SkillsHands-on experience using SQL and Python (or equivalent) for data analysis and insight generationAbility to work with complex datasets and translate results into business-relevant insightsExperience building repeatable analytical solutions and performance reporting assetsDemonstrated ability to distill complex financial and analytical concepts into clear, compelling narrativesComfortable influencing senior stakeholders across business, credit, and functional teamsWhy Join Us?You’ll join a high-impact commercial banking team where lending expertise and analytics directly shape strategic decisions.
