Job Description We’re looking for a driven problem-solver with AI fluency and business acumen who can partner with senior business stakeholders to identify and develop high-impact AI transformation opportunities. What’s the opportunity? As a Director on the AI Business Enablement team, you will own a sub‑segment within a Line of Business or Function — driving opportunity identification, solution concept development, and program framing in close collaboration with your vertical leadership. You will engage VP/SVP‑level business leaders with credibility and rigour — bringing a blend of consultative problem‑solving, AI knowledge, and hands‑on experience delivering technology‑driven outcomes. Your responsibilities will include: Business stakeholder engagement: Building and maintaining strong relationships with VP/SVP‑level business leaders within your sub‑segment; understanding their priorities, pain points, and transformation opportunities Pipeline development: Identifying, sizing, and developing AI transformation opportunities within your sub‑segment — contributing to a rigorous pipeline with quantified value hypotheses ready for delivery intake AI solution concept development: Generating innovative AI solution concepts for business problems and supporting validation through rapid POC cycles (weeks, not quarters) Business model & process re‑engineering: Working with business stakeholders to rethink processes and operating models through an AI‑enabled lens Program framing: Supporting business case development, go‑to‑market strategy, and program framing to ensure ideas translate into executable plans Delivery partnership: Working closely with our AI Solutions and Research teams to ensure business context and outcomes expectations are carried through into delivery — maintaining alignment between transformation ambition and the technical execution path Cross‑enterprise collaboration: Contributing to cross‑vertical pattern recognition by surfacing reuse opportunities and horizontal themes observed within domain You’re our ideal candidate if you: Have 8–12 years of progressive experience in management consulting, technology, AI/ML product development, or a combination thereof Have a track record of contributing to the delivery of AI or technology‑driven solutions that created material business impact — strategy and advisory experience is valued, but must be complemented by hands‑on involvement in delivery outcomes Can engage VP/SVP‑level business stakeholders with credibility — able to earn trust, challenge thinking, and drive alignment Have demonstrated experience in process re‑engineering or business model redesign, ideally enabled by technology or data Have experience partnering with technical or engineering teams to translate business requirements into solution design and ensure delivery stays aligned to intended business outcomes Bring a consultative problem‑solving approach — able to structure ambiguous problems, develop hypotheses, and drive to action quickly Have a working knowledge of AI/ML technologies, LLMs, and data platforms — sufficient to credibly assess feasibility, shape solution concepts, and engage technical teams Banking or financial services experience is welcome but not required; what matters is the ability to rapidly develop domain depth and business‑model understanding in complex industries What’s in it for you: Drive AI transformation at one of Canada’s largest and most respected financial institutions, with exposure to senior leadership across RBC Be part of a newly formed, high‑impact function within RBC’s AI Group alongside experienced transformation leaders A comprehensive Total Rewards Program including bonuses and flexible benefits, competitive compensation, commissions, and stock options where applicable Leaders who support your development through coaching and managing opportunities Ability to make a difference and lasting impact from a local‑to‑global scale Job Skills Big Data Analytics Client Counseling Coaching Others Critical Thinking Decision Making Industry Knowledge Machine Learning (ML) Results‑Oriented Software Engineering Software Product Design Inclusion and Equal Opportunity Employment RBC is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
