has an exciting opportunity for a Dining Room Supervisor to join their team in Retirement home.
Status:
Permanent Full-Time
• Location: 3790 Brock Street North, Whitby ON L1R 3A5
The expected hiring range for this position is $41.200 to $46.600. This role falls within a broader internal salary band, with growth opportunities based on demonstrated performance.

As a new Dining Room Supervisor, you will:
Support and embrace our resident-centered social culture and be proud to deliver the highest quality of hospitality services to our residents.
Our Dining Room Supervisors at Schlegel Villages lead and support a team of servers with hands-on training, coaching and leadership while assisting the Director of Hospitality with shift scheduling and supervision. Dining Room Supervisors supervise the dining room, answering all requests professionally while putting excellent customer service first, ensuring a seamless mealtime experience.
Our Dining Room Supervisors use their creative flare for meal delivery, creative food preparation and presentation along with their passion for exceptional customer service to plan, organize and manage special events.
To be successful as our new Dining Room Supervisor, you will:
Hold a Certificate or Diploma from a recognized institution in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
Hold a Food Handlers Certificate and Smart Serve certifications
Respect the rights and dignity of all residents, families, team members and visitors to the Village and addresses any requests with professionalism and care
Work every second weekend and may join the rotational on-call leadership team
It would be an asset if our new Dining Room Supervisor has:
Previous supervisory experience either through employment or volunteer / school activities
