Responsibilities of a Diesel Service Apprentice entail: Shadow and assist experienced diesel technicians, learning fundamental repair and maintenance techniques. Perform basic maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, fluid checks, and component replacements under supervision. Perform pre-delivery inspections on vehicles or equipment to ensure readiness. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring proper tool care and safety procedures. Participate in training programs and workshops to develop knowledge of diesel systems, diagnostics, and repair procedures. Assist with recordkeeping and documentation of work performed.
