Must Haves:
Experience in one of the leading cloud platforms such as AWS, OpenShift etc.
Experience in maintaining complex Linux cloud environments, like CentOS, Ubuntu to support applications and services.
Experience in scripting languages like Python, Bash, Java, JavaScript, Node, etc.
Experience in build tools like Git, Ansible, CloudFormation, ytt etc. for continuous integration
Experience in application code containerization and container-based virtualization technology like Docker, K8S etc.
GitLab CI/CD required
Description
Qualifications and Experience:
University/College degree in Computer Science. Certification in Software Engineering or equivalent a definite asset.
Minimum of 5 years of proven hiring records with cloud platform and CI/CD pipelines related positions.
Extensive experience in all facets of application development lifecycle (unit, functional, integration, system, regression, penetration, performance and user acceptance testing) a definite asset
Solid experience in executing Systems Integration using Linux Shell scripting.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience in tracking problems and defects within a large project.
Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment.
Technical Capabilities:
Experience in one of the leading cloud platforms such as AWS, OpenShift etc.
Experience in maintaining complex Linux cloud environments, like CentOS, Ubuntu to support applications and services.
Experience in scripting languages like Python, Bash, Java, JavaScript, Node, etc.
Experience in build tools like Git, Ansible, CloudFormation, ytt etc. for continuous integration
Experience in application code containerization and container-based virtualization technology like Docker, K8S etc.
Experience in container management and orchestration to automate application
deployment, application scaling/clustering, monitoring and others
Integration experience in building and using APIs or other integration endpoints
Experience applying industry web, architectural and security standards and best
practices.
The candidate is responsible for:
Assess frameworks, platform, or tech stack to assist in creating cloud-based solutions
Design, build and support cloud environments to deploy digital products.
Design, build, develop and administer CI/CD pipeline to support continuous
development and deployment of modular cloud-based systems
Monitor and assess the performance of applications in a cloud environment to
ensure solutions are available.
Identify, analyze, and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and application
deployment issues
Create, test and implement safeguards to maintain data integrity and protect
against unauthorized access.
Deliverables
Prepare execution plans, testing scripts, and technical design documents;
Build and execute various types of technical solutions and scripts;
Analyze results and creating reports for Management as needed;
Track problems, defects and issues within a large project;
Create knowledgebase articles to document the procedures and solutions

Anticipated Duration: 6 months

Work location is hybrid including at least 3 days a week on-site with anchors on Mondays & Wednesdays at 55 John St. MetroHall 9th Floor.
