Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDesktop Tech Support About the Role We are looking for a reliable and customer-focused Desktop Tech Support professional to join our team on-site in North York. In this role, you'll be the go-to person for resolving end-user technical issues, managing hardware and software support requests, and ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations for our team. Responsibilities Provide hands-on desktop support for end users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues Set up, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and printers Manage and resolve support tickets through the company ticketing system in a timely manner Support and maintain Active Directory user accounts and permissions Assist with basic networking troubleshooting (connectivity, printers, shared drives, etc.) Ensure systems are running on Windows 11 and assist with upgrades/migrations as needed Document recurring issues and solutions to improve support efficiency Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff when necessary Deliver friendly, professional, and efficient support to all end users Requirements 2+ years of experience in a desktop support or IT helpdesk role Hands-on experience with Windows 11 Experience working with a ticketing system (e.g., ServiceNow, Zendesk, Freshservice, or similar) Working knowledge of Active Directory (user/account management) Basic understanding of networking fundamentals (connectivity, troubleshooting) Experience supporting end-user hardware : desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and printers Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to work full-time on-site, Monday to Friday Nice to Have Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+) Experience supporting a mobile device management (MDM) platform Prior experience in a corporate/office environment Schedule Monday to Friday Full-time, 40 hours/week
