Coventry University Kazakhstan is opening its doors in Almaty, and we are looking for a Deputy Registrar to join our growing team. Main Duties and Responsibilities: Maintain, update, and secure accurate student records within the management system in compliance with data protection laws Coordinate registration, module enrollment, and track student attendance, progression, and retention rates Issue official academic documents, including transcripts, enrollment certificates, and graduation letters Manage academic timetabling, room bookings, and space allocation to maximize facility utilization Oversee examination periods, including scheduling, room assignments, invigilation, and secure paper handling Administer assessment results, verify grade sheets, and prepare documentation for Assessment Boards Update government portals (eGov.kz, Ministry), manage state scholarship records, and submit data to local authorities (Akimat) Compile statistical and analytics reports for internal planning, quality assurance, and partner institutions (Coventry University) Serve as primary contact for students and faculty regarding registry policies, inquiries, and academic procedures Support audits, quality reviews, policy updates, and act as Secretary to the Student Disciplinary Committee
