We are looking for an organized and personable Dental Office Administrator to join our front-of-house team. What You'll Do As the first point of contact for our patients, you will set the tone for their visit and ensure daily operations run smoothly. Patient Care & Front Desk: Welcome patients, manage check-in/check-out, answer multi-line phone calls, and address patient inquiries warmly and efficiently. Scheduling & Recall: Optimize daily appointment schedules to minimize gaps, coordinate recall programs, and manage confirmations and follow-ups. Billing & Insurance (EDI): Verify insurance coverage, process pre-authorizations, submit claims electronically via EDI, and handle co-payments and account receivables. Records Management: Maintain accurate electronic patient records and charts in compliance with privacy guidelines. Treatment Coordination: Assist patients with treatment plan explanations, financial arrangements, and appointment sequencing. Qualifications & Skills Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of administrative experience in a dental practice. Software: Proficiency with dental management software, Paradigm experience a plus , and standard office programs (MS Office). Knowledge: Deep understanding of dental terminology, insurance billing codes, and pre-determination procedures. Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a customer-first mindset. Organization: Strong multi-tasking skills with sharp attention to detail under busy office conditions.
