We are looking for a customer-focused Deli Bakery Team Associate to provide excellent service, maintain the bakery area, and assist with stocking and merchandising baked goods. This role is important for ensuring product quality and a great shopping experience. Ensures the merchandise is properly signed and priced. Adheres to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration dates. Takes orders for Deli Department merchandise; preparing hot food merchandise and providing requested assistance. Prepares deli food orders utilizing utensils; preparing chicken by using rotisserie oven; and fill prepared side dishes for placement into display area. Prepares bakery merchandise by accurately following thawing and baking guidelines to ensure the quality and visual appearance of Bakery Department merchandise, such as bread, cakes, pies, cookies, and rolls. Follows proper procedures for; Ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels. Qualifications Strong attention to detail and product quality Commitment to food safety and sanitation standards Ability to follow procedures and work in a team environment Friendly and helpful customer service skills Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays Pay: From $18.05 per hour Language: English (preferred) Work Location: In person
