Data Scientist at Itransition — NeverHard

We’re looking for an experienced Data Scientist who will help build trusted, data-driven insights and predictive models to improve Planning & Scheduling processes and support a broader transformation program focused on automation, AI/ML adoption, and strategic decision-making. Key responsibilities: Collect, prepare, and analyse complex datasets. Develop data models and predictive analytics solutions. Identify data quality issues and improvement opportunities. Deliver actionable business insights and recommendations. Collaborate with business, architecture, and technology teams to productionise solutions. Work closely with stakeholders to validate and gain approval for developed models. Main deliverables: An MVP predictive model estimating job effort across two major product lines. Business-approved and trusted analytical models. Supporting data models and standardised data definitions. Data quality assessments and improvement recommendations. Documentation and knowledge transfer materials. Key skills and experience: Strong background in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field. Experience with data modelling, statistical analysis, predictive analytics, and large datasets. Strong problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills. Familiarity with data architecture concepts. Experience with operational/planning environments and production data solutions is a plus.
