Datmos is looking for its next Data Scientist (AI & ML) to work closely with high-profile clients across North America
. This role will be instrumental in helping us design and deploy AI-driven solutions that create value for both our clients and our internal teams.

This role is essential in supporting our vision to become a data-first organization. The Data Scientist will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design predictive models, develop advanced analytics solutions, and ensure our recommendations are grounded in robust, reliable data. Key Responsibilities:
Collect, clean, preprocess, and validate both structured and unstructured data from various sources
Enhance data pipelines and collection methods to ensure completeness and relevance for modeling
Perform exploratory data analysis to uncover trends, anomalies, and insights
Design, train, and optimize machine learning models (e.g., classifiers, regressors, clustering algorithms)
Conduct feature selection and engineering to improve model performance
Develop predictive systems and deploy algorithms in collaboration with engineering teams
Present analytical findings through clear visualizations and business-friendly narratives
Partner with business stakeholders to understand challenges and propose data-driven solutions
Collaborate cross-functionally with Business, IT, and Data Engineering teams to operationalize insights
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Data Scientist, or in data management/AI within a technology-driven or IT-focused company
Hands‑on experience with NCP server (Network Control Protocol or related network server technologies)
Proven proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation, modeling, and automation in an enterprise IT environment
Strong experience using modern data visualization tools, such as Quicksight, Metabase, Looker, or similar, ideally in cloud-based or SaaS ecosystems
Solid understanding of machine learning and statistical modeling, including regression, Bayesian methods, time-series forecasting, and causal inference
Direct experience working with cloud data warehouses like Snowflake and/or BigQuery, preferably in scalable, tech-driven infrastructures
Ability to translate business and technical needs into clear, data-driven insights and scalable solutions, particularly in a software, IT, or digital context
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in Agile or DevOps environments (e.g., developers, product managers, data engineers)
Bilingual: Fluent in both English and French (spoken and written), as the role involves communication with clients and stakeholders in both languages (French is an asset)

Able to work independently and manage competing priorities with flexibility and agility
Excellent analytical and problem-solving
Snowflake or GCP certifications
Experience with cloud environments (GCP, AWS, Azure)
Familiarity with MLOps tools or deployment pipelines (e.g., MLflow, Airflow, CI/CD for models)
Familiarity with OCR tools and models (e.g., Tesseract, AWS Textract)
Any relevant cloud/data certifications
