We are seeking a **Data Engineer / Architect** to support the design and delivery of a modern, scalable data foundation. The role focuses on building **robust, automated data architectures** that bring together multiple data sources into a consistent, trusted view to support reporting, analytics, and governance needs. You will work collaboratively across technical and business teams to develop reliable data pipelines, standardized data models, and high-quality datasets that enable efficient insight generation and decision-making. **Key Responsibilities** + Design and implement **enterprise-grade data architectures** , including data lakes, warehouses, and integration layers. + Build and maintain **automated data pipelines** for ingesting, validating, transforming, and storing data from multiple sources. + Develop **scalable data models and schemas** to support consistent metrics, reporting, and analytics. + Establish and apply **data standards and quality controls** to ensure accuracy, reliability, and repeatability. + Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data and reporting requirements and translate them into technical solutions. + Partner with analytics and visualization teams to ensure data is well-structured and optimized for downstream use. **Required Experience & Skills** + Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline. + **5+ years of experience** in data engineering and/or data architecture within complex environments. + Strong experience with **SQL** , data modeling, and **ETL/ELT processes** . + Hands-on experience with **cloud-based data platforms** (AWS, Azure, or GCP). + Proven ability to integrate and harmonize **multiple, fragmented data sources** . + Working knowledge of **data governance, data quality, and security best practices** . + Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams. **What ICON can offer you:** Our success depends on the quality of our people.
