Job DescriptionJob Description NOW HIRING: DATA CENTER TECHNICIANS Job Description We are seeking experienced Data Center Technicians to oversee and support the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and decommissioning of critical data center infrastructure. This role involves racking and stacking servers, installing fiber and copper cabling, supporting hardware upgrades, and troubleshooting network and server issues. The successful candidate will coordinate with vendors and project teams, maintain accurate documentation and inventory records, and provide mentorship to junior technicians. Responsibilities Oversee installation and maintenance of data center infrastructure. Rack and stack servers efficiently. Install fiber and copper cabling with precision. Support hardware upgrades as needed. Troubleshoot network and server issues promptly. Coordinate with vendors and project teams. Maintain accurate documentation and inventory records. Provide mentorship to junior technicians. Essential Skills 4-5 years experience with server racking, fiber and copper cabling, hardware installations, and troubleshooting. 1 year of experience overseeing 2 other technicians. Ability to work independently. Strong troubleshooting and organizational skills. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, rack elevations, and documents. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and working on ladders, overhead cable trays, and raised floors. Additional Skills & Qualifications CSTS certification is nice to have. Experience with power, cooling, racks, and cabling is preferred. Why Work Here? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $55.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
