Description What you'll do: Provide resource expertise to team managers, call centre, and verification staff by assisting others in accurate set up, maintenance and data processing of applications. Review the processing work of staff completing data entry for accuracy and efficiency and provide feedback throughout the processing year. Identify training requirements for staff completing data entry and assist in individualized training as required. Interpret and validate financial information submitted electronically and/or data entry submitted information. Data process highly complex applications such as multi-operational corporations with varying fiscal year ends, shell corporations, limited partnership, butterfly corporations, joint ventures and multi-jurisdictional operations. Contact clients and/or their authorized representative to obtain and exchange information, discuss and confirm program requirements. Process and log cancellations and assist with the year-end completion of ineligible applicants and send applicable letters. Monitor and maintain the quality of program data by conducting quality reviews. Manage a large capacity electronic filing system of highly confidential, time sensitive documents to ensure Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy standards are met. Develop and maintain an AgriStability policy and procedure manual for Data Entry and Data Assessment workflows. Communicate customer issues and trends to Team Manager to improve customer service and program enhancements. Assist with requirements documents and working groups to implement innovative ideas for system enhancements and improvements. Assist with User Acceptance Testing when necessary to ensure system releases function properly. Monitor the DACR mailbox and respond to matters relating to tax changes, rollovers, shell corporation set ups, fiscal year end changes, file transfers and assignments, out of province transfer set ups, simplified participant set ups, AgriInvest updates, etc in a timely manner. Maintain and review multiple reports to ensure all data processing workflows run efficiently. Complete AgriInvest workflow and ensure that financial information is sent accurately to AgriInvest on a weekly basis. Qualifications: To be successful in this position you will need a grade 12 diploma as well as a sound working knowledge of agriculture, farm tax and accounting practices. Other qualifications include: Strong analytical, decision making and problem-solving skills, along with strong interpersonal, written and verbal communications skills. Experience with computer applications, specifically databases and Microsoft Office. A criminal record check is required. Should the successful candidate participate in the Crop Insurance or AgriStability Programs, their account must be in good standing.
