Data and Business Intelligence Architect Michelin, an international company known for its tire products, is looking for a Data and Business Intelligence Architect to join our team at the research center in Magog. About the Role As a Data and Business Intelligence Architect, you will work within a cross‑functional ecosystem, collaborating closely with business, implementation, and architecture teams. You will be a technical expert and influential leader guiding teams in the design and implementation of robust, scalable analytical solutions aligned with Michelin’s standards. Key Responsibilities Continuous Architecture: Regularly review and enhance system and data architectures to align with evolving business needs and technology advancements. Solution Design & Delivery: Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design scalable, innovative data solutions that fit the overall product roadmap. Technical Strategy & Roadmap: Shape technical strategies by defining reference architectures, strategic directions, and roadmaps aligned with the Group, ensuring solutions add business value. Architecture Activities: Work with delivery teams to ensure architectural decisions are made at the right level, conduct architecture reviews, and ensure compliance with standards. Technology Watch & Innovation: Monitor emerging technologies, trends, and Michelin technology roadmaps; recommend adoption or initiate studies to support additional business needs. Collaboration & Communication: Facilitate collaboration among stakeholders, lead workshops, and communicate architectural concepts clearly. Architecture Documentation: Create and maintain clear, accessible architecture documentation, diagrams, design and governance principles, patterns, and guidelines. Mentoring and Knowledge Sharing: Share expertise and knowledge with the architecture community and wider organization to develop skills and promote a learning mindset. Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field. 10+ years in IT with at least 5 years in BI solution and data architecture. Strong experience in data modeling, designing and implementing scalable data pipelines and BI solutions. Experience with cloud‑based data management solutions (Azure Data Lakes, Databricks), data governance tools (Unity Catalog, Collibra), and reporting tools (PowerBI). Experience with AI in SDLC, advanced analytics, and machine learning technologies (VsCode, GitLab, DataIku, agents, MCP servers). Skills in system design and optimization. Excellent communication skills in French and English; ability to work in multicultural environment. Strong business analysis and strategic thinking skills.
