6-month contract Data Analyst role at a global enterprise organization with hybrid work in Vancouver. Contract data analyst role. Global enterprise organization experiencing large scale growth. Primarily in office work with 4 days a week in office. What & Why: As a result of investment our client is looking to add a contract data analyst to their team to support their growing data and analytics team. We are looking for a Data Analyst to support the design, development, and delivery of scalable data solutions that power reporting and insights across the business. This role works with large, complex datasets to surface actionable information for stakeholders, partnering closely with analytics and engineering teams to ensure data is accurate, accessible, and meaningful. You will translate business questions into structured data models and queries, contribute to the team's data infrastructure, and help shape how insights are delivered across the organization. As Databricks is rolled out across the organization, this role will be expected to grow into that environment alongside it. They have invested majorly in technology and have had an incredibly successful past few years, including a major strategic acquisition. They have an all-star leadership team who keeps you accountable and provides support while still affording you tremendous autonomy. They are located in downtown Vancouver, with a primarily on site work environment, 4 days a week in office. You: You will bring the following education, skills and experience to the role: 5+ years of experience in a data analyst or analytics engineering role Advanced SQL skills and deep familiarity with Snowflake and relational database structures Strong understanding of data modeling, data quality, and how to structure data for downstream consumption Experience with or strong interest in Databricks; hands-on experience is a significant asset Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Compensation: This role pays between $55-70 per hour .
