Collaborative Robotics (Cobots)
. We are looking for a
Red Seal Journeyperson
with a
CWB Welding Supervisor
designation to anchor our technical standards as we grow.
The Role:
Craftsmanship Augmented by Tech.In this role, your expertise is the priority. We are introducing Cobots not to replace the welder, but to
augment the craft
. The Cobots handle repetitive, high-volume tasks, allowing you to focus on high-skill assemblies, custom fit-ups, and maintaining our CWB technical excellence.
As our Designated CWB Supervisor (Technical/Quality Focus):
Technical Authority:
Act as our primary liaison for the CWB Representative; manage all CWB paperwork, procedures, and welder qualifications.
Precision Fabrication:
Layout and weld components (hubs, sprockets, and chain drums) using arc and gas equipment.
Quality Leadership:
Perform visual inspections and use precision tools (calipers) to ensure every piece meets our global standards.
Modernization Lead:
Work alongside our new automated systems, ensuring the "human element" of quality is maintained in every weld.
