What Your Day Will Look Like
As a
Customer Service Sales Associate
, you are uniquely placed to represent the company you work for. You will be the first person a customer meets or chats with online, you will help them choose the best product for their needs, answer inquiries, and you will be responsible for providing a smooth transaction both in-store and online.
Hours:
Part-time hours. Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Hours may change based on the seasonality of the business.
Work Location:
Bishop's Cellar Retail Store - 1477 Lower Water Street, Halifax, Nova Scotia.
What You'll Be Responsible For
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
Provides exceptional customer service from the moment the customer walks in the door until after the customer has left
Drives sales through engagement of customers, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge
Assist in receiving, preparing, and processing online curbside pick-up orders
Responding to customer questions in person and online - in a timely manner, while following standardized procedures
Deal with challenging situations and conflict resolution in a professional manner
Restock shelves, ensuring merchandise is neat/fully stocked, while maintaining the store’s cleanliness
Process customer purchases accurately and in a timely manner
Balances cash/credit transactions at the end of shift

Previous retail, service, or sales experience is considered an asset.
Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic with a genuine desire to provide outstanding customer service

Able to lift and carry boxes of merchandise weighing up to 40 lbs.
Thirst for knowledge and a passion for wine + food
Previous wine, beer, and spirits education (an asset, not a requirement)

19 years or older
